- Swim only in designated or lifeguard-monitored areas; conditions can change quickly, and not all beaches are supervised.
- Andaman stays warm and humid year round, expect 24 to 31°C, with the monsoon (roughly June to September) affecting both weather and ferry reliability.
- Water sports and snorkelling at Elephant Beach are booked and paid for on the day, and are weather-dependent.
